Shumin Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Optics from the School of Physics Science and Engineering at Tongji University.
Currently, Dr. Zhang serves as the first point of contact for visitors, staff and students on campus based at reception, fulfils UK Campus Health & Safety function by ensuring all required areas are covered. She is also responsible for facilities management and maintains the fixed asset register. Besides, she manages campus accommodation and library. She also liaises with staff members from housekeeping, driving and maintenance as required.
